Privacy Policy

Favelist ("we", "us", or "our") is a mindful shopping app that helps you save products and wait before buying. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

Account information: Your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth) when you create an account.

Wishlist data: The product URLs, titles, images, and prices you save. This data is stored in our database and synced across your devices.

Usage data: Basic analytics events (e.g. item saved, item purchased) to help us understand how the app is used. These events do not contain personally identifiable information beyond your user ID.

Chrome extension: When you use the Favelist Chrome extension, it reads product information (title, image, price) from the page you are currently viewing. This data is only processed to save the item to your list - we do not record your browsing history or track which sites you visit.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the Favelist service: saving your wishlist and syncing it across devices. Price drop alerts are built but not switched on yet; once they are, we'll also use your saved items to track price changes and let you know when something drops. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party services

Supabase: We use Supabase to store your account and wishlist data. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant. See supabase.com/privacy.

Scraping services: When you save a product URL, we use third-party scraping services to fetch the product title, image, and price from the retailer's website. Only the URL you provide is sent to these services.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time. To request full account deletion and removal of all associated data, email us at hello@favelist.app.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@favelist.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
